FASHION FORWARD >>>>
YO[YO] Gang,
hope all's well.
I came across Ciara's song ""work"" again the other day and in light of recent fashion trends I realised that although the film clip was made sometime in 2008 in featured trends that I am finding everywhere at the moment; they include
-gladiator shoes
-fierce one pieces
-padded shoulders
-lady gaga-esk sunnies
-barely there leather gloves
-maxi dress
(take a look at the clip -can you spot more?)
This lead me to ponder the following questions...
1. how are trends predicted?
2. is Australia behind in relation to fashion exposure as we are just discovering and infiltrating these trends into society?
3. how does something progress from a trend to ageless fashion as it filters through generations?
I'm interested in your thoughts!
